We do not sell, rent, lease, lend or disseminate our contact lists to anyone for any reason other than in the case of fulfilling legal requirements.

It is strictly forbidden to copy our showcase and directory lists by any means. Our showcases and directories are protected under US and International Copyright Law.

When you list your contact information with us it does not mean nor does it imply an endorsement of you, your company, the quality of your products or is it to be considered as a proposal for consideration of you, your company or your products for purposes of music publishing by StringTunes or the International Luthier Showcase.

Likewise, we are not expecting nor is it to be implied or construed as an endorsement of us by you. It is merely a directory resource for visitors coming to and participating in this website.

All listings in this directory are for luthiers of fine quality, acoustic, handcrafted musical instruments in the stringed or fretted classification of instruments. Each listing will be placed in the country directory in which they reside and the listings will be presented only in alphabetical order.

We are now populating the directories on the International Luthier Showcase website. Over time this should be a comprehensive resource for you when searching for a luthier or support group for your preferred stringed instrument.

Remember, this is your listing, just like a listing in the yellow pages of your local phone book. Inaccurate or incomplete information will result in an unfavorable response rate. Please check your listing for accuracy if you are expecting others to contact you!

Therefor, it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your listing and for working with us to assure your listing is complete, up to date and accurate.

Listing Options

Option 1

Free – You have two basic listing options when placing your listing in this directory. The first is a simple listing which includes your name, company name, website link or an e-mail link and your country or origin. Your listing will not be boxed although we are showing this below. Also, your listing will be placed on the left margin of the page. Your option 1 listing submission should look something like either of the following two examples.

For a Website Link Listing

John Doe – Acoustic Guitars, Inc. – www.acousticguitars(dot)com – USA

or

For an E-mail Listing

John Doe – Acoustic Guitars, Inc. – johndoe(at)acousticguitars(dot)com – USA

(In both cases the actual urls or e-mail addresses will be masked, not shown.)

Option 2

$25.00/year – Your second option is for an extended listing which includes your name, your company name, address including state zip code and country, website link and e-mail links and your phone and/or your fax numbers, as well as the acoustic instrument(s) you produce. This option includes one line of text. Also, your listing will be in its own box as shown, so your listing should look something like this example.

Option – 3

$45.00/year – Your third option is a paragraph about you and your company. It should include all of the items shown in option 2 and two additions, your photo (not shown) and details of your product offering. Your listing will be in its own box so your submission should look something like the example shown below (with your picture included if you elect to include it). This option includes up to three lines of text, make them count!

Option – 4

$120.00/year – Your  fourth option is the placement of a banner 468 x 60 pixels in size and it will be centered in the page for increased visibility. Here is an example using one of our banners.

The banner content is up to you and your company or organization however it must represent you and/or your company. Your banner will be linked to your website’s home page or a page you designate. Also, you have the opportunity to change your banner up to a maximum of four times per year.

General Directory Listing Guidelines

The following ILS Directory guidelines will be used throughout the International Luthier Showcase. For the featured luthier showcases please see the ILS Showcase Information page. When submitting for your listing please include only those items listed in the chart below.

Lastly, all submissions must include the State or Province, Country and instrument for accurate placement of your listing. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

Paragraph and Banner Listing Guidelines

When submitting for Option 3 or 4, please include and/or reference the following information;

Name: This includes your first last and any applicable suffix (Senior, Junior, MD, JD, MA, BS, etc.)

Company Name: Your companies full name including business type (Co., Inc., LLC., for example.)

Phone Number: Please include area code and your seven digit phone number. If you are from a country outside of the US please include your country code as well.

Contact E-mail: Must be a verifiable e-mail address. We will send you a confirmation e-mail to assure it is correct and to verify your opt-in approval for use. This is a requirement if your listing includes your e-mail address.

Street Address: Please include your full address with no abbreviations, Boulevard is correct, not Blvd. for example. Property address must include the number and street, city, state or province, zip code and country.

Photo – When submitting for a paragraph listing (three lines of text, 250 words including spaces), you may also submit an 80 x 80 pixel x 300 dpi (minimum) photograph if you want it included in your listing. Format = compressed – jpeg or png.  Quality is important here!

Banner - The size of the banner is 468 x 60 pixels x 300 dpi minimum. Format = compressed jpeg or png. No other sizes are being accepted at this time.
